 Private Harry Russell's father was a Perth produce   12 October 1917. Age 26
 merchant. Harry entered Hale School in 1900 and joined

 12 October 1917. Age 30                     Placed by his nephew and Old Haleian Max Vinnicombe (1945-54),
 Lieutenant Victor Harwood joined up in 1916 and was   assisted by his great-nephew, Scotch Collegian Hamish Vinnicombe.
