The 1st Haleian killed on Gallipoli. Dedicated by Mr Tim Hantke ( 1959-65) & Family.

Dedicated by Hale School. (Tim's father, Ted (1918-24), was the first recipient of the Aubrey Hardwicke memorial
Placed by the 1999 Captain of School, Alex Purtill (1995-99). prize for Captain of School in 1924, 75 years ago and presented by Aubrey's parents).

Placed by two other Aubrey Hardwicke prize recipients, Dr Eric Isaachsen (1964-68),
PLAQUE NO 5: who was Captain of School in 1968 and Chairman of the Board of Governors, and
L/Cpl James H. Chalmers Mr Paul Isaachsen (1991-98), Captain of School in 1998.

Dedicated by Hale School. Killed In Action: Bolton's Ridge Gallipoli
Placed by Mr Alistair MacMillan (1948-55), 28 June 1915. Age 41
(An Old Haleian and at the time, the longest serving staff member at Hale School).
Four Haleians, all members of the 10th Light Horse Regiment, were killed on 7 August
1915 at The Nek - as depicted in the concluding scenes of Peter Weir's poignant film,
"Gallipoli"
