The OHA Committee is pleased to announce that following the recent EOI process, Braden Meers has been successful in his application to be appointed to the Hale School Board of Governors.
Braden attended Hale School from 1971 through to 1979, being part of the 1981 class group. He has significant rural ties especially in the communities of Wongan Hills, Jurien Bay and Moora as Owner/Director of three local supermarkets. His three sons have boarded at Hale; the youngest currently in Year 11 and through his role as President of the Boarders' Parents Liaison Group over a number of years, Braden has been able to further extend his links into the rural community. He is an active community member, has previous Board experience and is well-regarded among his peers.
The Committee has no doubt Braden will provide valuable service as a member of the Board.
